Sample Daily Schedule


Campers craft their days by choosing from sports, fitness, cooking, and arts electives while being immersed in a community of peers who are dedicated to leading a vibrant, joyful, and energized lifestyle.

Morning

7:30AM - GOOD MORNING!

Wake up and get ready for an action-packed day.

Warm Up

8:00-8:10AM - ALL CAMP WARM UP

Stretch, breathe in the fresh morning air, and take a moment to appreciate the beauty of our surroundings. Check out our facility here!

Breakfast

8:10-8:45 AM - BREAKFAST

Strawberry French toast, egg white omelets, homemade maple granola, and organic berries and fruits. Read about our food here!

Shmirat Ha'Cabin

8:50-9:40AM - SHMIRAT HA'CABIN

Just like we take care of our bodies (shmirat ha’guf) we also take care of our cabins every day. View our interactive map to see the site!

Activity One

9:45-10:45AM - ACTIVITY ONE (WITH CABIN)

Strength train with a master trainer in our 5,000 square foot gym, work on your backhand with our tennis coach, or go for a hike with your friends and counselors on the beautiful trails around camp. Read about our electives!

Activity Two

10:50-11:50AM - ACTIVITY TWO (WITH CABIN)

Create quinoa stuffed peppers which will be served to your friends at lunch, go boating on our private lake, or practice some soccer drills with our coach. Visit the Videos page to see the day in action!

Wash Up

11:50-12:00PM - WASH UP

Take a few minutes to wash our hands before lunch and cool down after an energetic morning.

Lunch

12:05-1:00PM - LUNCH

Freshly-baked spelt crust pizza, hummus and baked falafel, quinoa stuffed peppers, baked sweet potato fries, and Israeli salad bar. Read about our food here!

Relax

1:05-2:05PM - RELAX & CABIN TIME

Take a power nap, write a letter home, listen to music, and take a break from the excitement of the day.

Activity Three

2:10-3:10PM - ACTIVITY THREE (ELECTIVE)

Play basketball with our coach, dance with a professional instructor, or spend time painting with our artist in residence. Read about our electives!

Hang Out

3:15-3:35PM - ALL CAMP HANG OUT

Hang out and snack time – cookies and fresh fruit popsicles.

Activity Four

3:40-4:40PM - ACTIVITY FOUR (ELECTIVE)

Explore the connection between mind and body in a yoga class, learn self-defense with our Krav Maga specialist, or practice your sidestroke in our Red Cross swim program. Visit the Videos page to see the day in action!

Activity Five

4:50-5:50PM - ACTIVITY FIVE (ELECTIVE)

Go for a trail run around the beautiful lake, learn how to build a fire with our outdoor specialist, practice guitar in our theater, or play some volleyball on our sand court. Read about our electives!

Wash Up

5:50-6:00PM - WASH UP

Take a few minutes to wash our hands before dinner and cool down after an energetic afternoon.

Dinner

6:05-7:00PM - DINNER

Whole wheat burritos, stuffed tamales, overloaded baked nacho platter, and Mexican-themed salad bar. Read about our food here!

Shower Time

7:05-7:35PM - SHOWER TIME

Get cleaned up and change into nicer clothes for all-camp evening activity.

Evening Activity

7:40-9:15PM - EVENING ACTIVITY

Camper talent show, top chef contest, movie night, camp dance, visiting athletes and chefs, and so much more.

Cabin Circle

9:15-10:00PM - CABIN CIRCLE

Campers sit with cabinmates and share about their day and lights out (time varies depending on age).

Campers can throw on an apron and cook with a professional chef, participate in energizing fitness activities, like strength training and dance, and in the process, join a community of like-minded peers. San Diego Jewish World
